ABOUT ME.
My name is Mark and I have been teaching English for over 20 years. I was an English Teacher in Italy for 7 years from 2003 - 2010. I worked for 2 different schools teaching in many different companies. I also taught for a company called CFTA and I still do online lessons for them. I was the teacher for thousands of students from young men and women studying at University to Business men and women. I love teaching and it is a passion of mine as many of my ex students know. I also love travelling so now I plan to offer English speaking tours. If you would like to know more about my English courses or tours then please contact me.
ABOUT MYÂ ENGLISH COURSES
I offer English courses in the UK, on Zoom or in your country. The courses are adapted for each student and you can study English Grammar, conversation or Business English. You can tell me what you need and I will prepare it all for you.
My courses can be adapted to any students needs. You just need to tell me what you want and I will prepare it for you.
My courses are held in Torquay, Devon in the South West of the UK. The sea is about 30 minutes by foot from my house with lots of things for students to do during their stay.
Please read below about the different types of courses available.
STANDARD ENGLISH COURSE
A course for students that want to come and stay in the UK and study for one, two, three weeks or maybe longer. You can study for 2,3 or 4 hours a day and after we have finished the lesson you are free to explore Torquay.
Lesson start from £30 per hour.
INTENSIVE ENGLISHÂ COURSE
This is the most popular course and it is for students that would like to improve their English quicker and speak a lot of English. This can be for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or more. This course is from 9am - 6pm and the Teacher is with you all the time and you are put into real life situations. In bars, restaurants etc
Prices start at £15 per hour.
Course in your home country
I have recently started offering courses in the country that the student lives in. This could be at your office, home or holiday home.
This is great for students that would like a English Mother Tongue Teacher for an English course in your own country.
This is very popular with businesses, families and people that would like to have an intensive course, but haven't got time to come to the UK.

ONLINE ENGLISH LESSONS
GRAMMAR, BUSINESS OR CONVERSATION LESSONS
This is an online video course for students that would like to improve their English. Just let me know what you would like to study and I will prepare the course for you. These courses can be in the day or in the evening.
Prices start at £25 per hour. If you book a block of 10 lessons or a group course the cost will be cheaper.
A PLACE TO STAY WHILE YOU STUDY.
I also have a place for students to stay. This way the student can study and sleep at the same place. The student has his/her own bedroom and bathroom with Breakfast and Dinner included. This is also ideal for couples that would like to study English together or your partner can just come along with you while you study.
Accommodation starts from £50 per night.
A PLACE TO STAY FOR YOUNG LEARNERS.
My English courses are mainly for adults that are over 20 years old. However there are many Language Schools in Torquay which are ideal for teenagers. If you want a place for your boy or girl to stay while they study in Torquay I will be happy to help. Minimum age is 16 years old.
Accommodation for students is £40 per night.
USEFUL INFORMATION
1 : Bristol Airport is the best airport to fly to.
2 : There is a bus service from Bristol to Torquay at a very reasonable price.
3 : I am happy to pick students up from the airport and take them back. There is an additional cost to do this to cover my time, petrol money and car parking fees.
